The 3M™ Aqua-Pure® Water Filter Cartridge AP811 helps to reduce sediment particles as small as 25 microns in size, as well as rust, providing clearer water for drinking, bathing, laundry, and other household uses. 3M’s exclusive Micro-KleanTM XL progressive porosity technology forces water through pores that become increasingly tighter, filtering smaller and smaller microscopic particles. The unique process allows the cartridge to effectively reduce sediment while providing a high flow rate. The cartridge lasts up to six months before replacement.
The cartridge is manufactured by 3M Purification Inc. (3MPITM), formerly CUNO Incorporated. It has a flow rate of up to 20 gallons/76 liters per minute. It operates at temperatures from 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C) and water pressures from 25-125psi (172-862 kPa).
